Obituary for Aida A. Almendral

Aida Almendral peacefully passed away at her home on January 22, 2020 at the age of 84. She was born on July 1, 1935 in San Pablo City, Laguna in the Philippines and was the youngest of 8 children. She immigrated to the US in the 1970’s and has since been the cornerstone for subsequent family members that followed.

She is survived by her brother, Paterno Almendral. Aida will always be remembered as a second mother to her numerous nieces and nephews who are forever grateful for her unceasing love and support through the years. She was predeceased by her six siblings - Elisa, Antonio, Leandro, Alfredo, Zenaida and Francisco.

Aida was a blessing to many whose lives she touched at work, in her neighborhood and in her hometown. She was generous, kind and always willing to help in any way.
