Obituary for Angelo P. Corticelli

Angelo P. Corticelli, of North White Plains, NY, passed away August 26, 2019. Angelo was born October 1, 1925 in Bologna, Italy to Luigi and Adalgisa (nee Ghermandi) Corticelli.
On July 14, 1969 Angelo married his wife, Judith A. in West Nyack, NY.
From 1973 to 1995, Angelo held a variety of public servant positions for Westchester County retiring as director of medical assistance. When he wasn’t working, Angelo enjoyed painting, writing, reading and history. He was a member of the Rotary Club in Valhalla, serving as President in 1990, and he was on the conservation board for the Town of North Castle. Angelo loved his family immensely and was kind and compassionate to everyone he met. His deeply held spiritual values guided him through life.
Besides his loving wife Judith, Angelo is survived by his two sons: Paolo (Anna) Corticelli, and Pierangelo (Janine) Corticelli, granddaughter Ella Corticelli, and his brother Sergio Corticelli.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Angelo’s name to the Parkinson’s Foundation, 200 S E 1st Street (suite 800) Miami, FL. 33131. For information call 800-473-4636 or visit Parkinson.org.
