I met Dacia when she joined Hudson Valley Singers. We usually sat together in the Soprano section. She had a very good voice and sense of humor. I also knew she was a nurse at WP Hospital. I will miss her.

As an RN Dacia was a role model to other nurses. She gave unparalleled nursing care to my mother many many years ago who was a patient of hers at White Plains Hospital. As a nurse myself I was impressed by her delivery of physical emotional and spiritual care to meet the needs of her patients in a calm unhurried manner. She was dedicated and steadfast in her commitment to her chosen profession. Her infectious smile, her ladylike demeanour and her outstanding character were exemplary.May she RIP
