Obituary for Demetrio Paul "Dee" Caridi

Demetrio Paul Caridi, a lifelong White Plains resident, passed away April 10, 2019 at the age of 90. He was born October 22, 1928 to the late Felicia and Vincenzo Caridi.
Dee served proudly in the U.S. Army from 1950 to 1951.
He was an accomplished business owner of Dee’s Private car service in White Plains for 60 years. He was known for his love of cars, passion for driving and took extreme pride in his home and business. He was also an avid music lover and loved to dance.
He is survived by his daughters, Jane Ceraldi of Somers and Linda Yusko of Texas and his son Douglas Caridi of White Plains, 9 grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and his sister Josephine Ferrara of White Plains and a brother Vincent Caridi of TX. He is predeceased by his wife Jane Calvert Caridi, a sister Antonette Pavone and his brothers, Anthony, Joseph and John Caridi.
Visiting will be Friday from 4-8pm at McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home, 491 Mamaroneck Ave, White Plains, (914) 949-7777. Mass Saturday at 10:00am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church White Plains. Entombment at Rose Hills Memorial Park.
