Obituary

Douglas W. Harrison, 73, of White Plains, passed away on December 5, 2019. He was born on November 24, 1946 in Oliver, British Columbia, Canada to Joyce (nee Crossan) and Donald Harrison. Douglas married Yvonne D. Harrison at Sts. John and Paul in Larchmont, New York on August 6, 1967. He was a truck driver for Rheingold Breweries in White Plains for twenty years, retiring in 1987.

Douglas is survived by his wife, Yvonne; his sons, Douglas (Melanie) of Mamaroneck, New York, and Paul (Jennifer) of Frisco, Texas; his daughter, Daneen, of West Harrison, New York; and six grandchildren: Douglas, Jr., Lexi, Paul, Jr., Ashley, Brendan, and Joey. He is predeceased by his parents.

Douglas loved spending time with his grandchildren watching their sports. He also loved spending time with his best friends from high school, Carol and Jimmy Wagner, and his sister-in-law, Laurie Sturino. He was also an avid NASCAR fan.

So sorry to hear of doug loss. My prayers go out to his family. I have gotten to known doug through the years at domingos deli. He was a very good man thoughtful kind and loved hockey. I will truly miss him. Not seeing him in the morning at the deli wouldn't be the same. He always knew how to make people feel good about themselves.
