Obituary for Gaetano Masucci

Gaetano Masucci of West Harrison, NY passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, April 12, 2020. He was 91. Gaetano was born in Guardia Lombardi, Italy on August 7, 1928 to Rocco and Angela (Mezzaucella) Masucci. Gaetano married Maria (Luongo) in 1951. Gaetano is survived by daughters Angela (Alphonse) Illuzzi of Stamford, CT and Maria (Miles) Stark of Purchase, NY, his siblings Elena DiLeo and Erminia Montemarano, Giuseppe (Lucio) Masucci, his grandchildren Diana Illuzzi Hoffman, Michael Illuzzi, Peter Illuzzi and Stephen Stark and great grandchildren Holly Hoffman and Brody Hoffman and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving wife Maria (Luongo) and by his sisters Caterina Cipriani, Fiorentina Salierno, Gaetana D’ambrosio and Filomena Salierno.
Gaetano was member of the G. Cabot Club in Harrison. His favorite pastime was to tinker in the garage and tend to his garden. He loved his family, but adored his grandchildren.
During this time of pandemic, a private viewing will take place at McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett in White Plains and entombment at Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale.
