While this is a sad occasion, let us celebrate the life that was lived by a woman who, even by today’s standards, was very well traveled. Who choose to spend her domestic time educating young minds and being the common bond for her immediate and extended family.

I don’t think I am alone when I say growing up, one of the coolest things was getting a Postcard in the mail, from some far off land, with Gens scrawl on the back saying what a great time she was having, but wanted to take a minute and share this Picture and moment with ‘you’. I know she inspired my wanderlust, and most likely yours as well.
