Obituary

Joseph (Joe) Siciliano, 71, of White Plains passed away at home on June 9, 2020. Joe was born in the Bronx to Marie and Armando Siciliano. Joe proudly worked as a union carpenter for over 40 years.

Joe enjoyed traveling, cooking, and attending Yankees’ games. However, nothing made him happier than spending time with his family, especially at Christmas when everyone was home for his favorite holiday.

Joe is survived by his loving wife, Lisa, his children, Joe Jr. and Michele, his sister, Marie (Cookie), his daughter-in-law, Brie, and grandsons, Nick and Chris. He will be dearly missed.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider making a donation to your favorite charity in memory of Joe.

The Monarch of our neighborhood, and a dear man who would always say hello with a sweet smile. Referred to as "Big Joe" by his loving and devoted wife, Lisa. Things will never feel or be the same now that you are gone. I know you will continue to keep watch over your beloved home and family forever. Rest in eternal peace. Love, Maria and Cosimo

So sad,
Joe’s reputation, integrity, and legacy like the foundations he cast will stand the test of time. A respected 50-year member of the Carpenters Union. He was a skilled carpenter, foreman, officer of the Local Union and was a former Business Agent. Joe exemplified class, integrity, leadership and was driven by a strong moral compass, when Joe spoke, he brought calm and common sense to any situation. He became a friend and mentor to me over the years always positive, but with his opinion attached and supportive. He spoke of his family’s accomplishments with great pride and joy. He loved his family and wife he was able to live the working mans dream, providing for his family through the fruits of his skill and hard work with the benefits of Union Labor.
Rest in Peace Brother.
