Obituary for Marcia Saccone Pledger

Marcia Saccone Pledger, 91, of White Plains, New York passed away on April 23, 2020. She was born in White Plains on July 11, 1928 to Marzia (nee Annechino) and Domenico Saccone. Marcia married Carol “Chuck” Joseph Pledger in White Plains on May 14, 1956. She was an account manager for the City of White Plains for 20 years, retiring in 1990. Marcia was a member of the Ave Maria Guild at St. Anthony of Padua Church in West Harrison, New York. Marcia was a beloved mother and grandmother and was the youngest of sixteen siblings.

Marcia is survived by her son, Jeffrey D. (Suzanne M.) Pledger of Toronto, Ontario, Canada; her granddaughter Caroline Margaret (Martin Haugen) Pledger of Oslo, Norway; and her sister Dolores Saccone Ballasedis of West Harrison, New York. She was predeceased by her husband, Chuck, her parents, and fourteen brothers and sisters.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Guiding Eyes for the Blind, 611 Granite Springs Road, Yorktown Heights, NY 10598.
