It has been many, many years but what wonderful friends Mimi and her family were to us. Our house was right behind theirs in Silver Lake. We all grew up together and shared lots of fun times and lots of good memories. Our condolences to all of you and Mimi, God bless you forever.

I'll remember waiting at aunt Mimi's house for the bus when I was in intermediate school. My mom didn't want me to go to school in Harrison so she would drop me off at aunt Mimi's house. Aunt Mimi even let a new girl from the Dominican Republic wait inside her house she was just that kind! I used to walk through Sears just so I can see her and say hello. My fondest memory was her taking me to see the Wiz which is still my favorite movie til this day, lol. She is going to be greatly missed! May the Creator comfort us all during this difficult time.
