Obituary

Paul Dillane, 56, of White Plains, NY, passed away on June 11th 2020.

Paul was born on January 30th 1964 to John and Noreen Dillane of Tralee, Co. Kerry, Ireland, both deceased.

Paul is survived by his loving wife Karen, his sons Jack and Ben, brothers John and Paddy, and sisters Mary, Catherine and Anne.

On finishing high school in Ireland, Paul went to culinary school and worked as a chef for a time before emigrating to the United States. After arriving in NYC, he joined up with some old friends and worked in the construction industry for a time.

In 1998 Paul returned to his passion and opened his first bar, Sean Ogs, in Woodside, Queens which is still a beloved neighborhood bar and restaurant. Through hard work, diligence and professionalism he went on to open many other highly regarded restaurants from New York to Connecticut.

Paul was known far and wide for his kindness, compassion, and a mentoring approach to inspire others. His customers and employees were like family to Paul and he was always there to help anyone in need.

Paul was a devoted husband and loving father. He lived for his family and cherished every moment of the time he spent with them.

Paul was beloved by so many and will be deeply missed by those who were fortunate to know him.
