Obituary for Sheila Catherine Longo (McCann)

Sheila C. Longo (nee McCann), a White Plains resident, died July 29, 2020 at the age of 86. She was born November 29, 1933 in White Plains to the late James and Julia McCann.
On May 19, 1957 she married James E. Longo at St. John the Evangelist Church in White Plains.
Sheila worked for 20 years as a bookkeeper for C.G. Swackhamer, Inc. in White Plains, retiring in 1998.
She is survived by her devoted husband James Longo, of White Plains, her children; James R. Longo, (Jackie), Edward T. Longo, (Diane) and Kathleen A. Maldonado, (Ray) all of White Plains. She is also survived by her brother Lawrence McCann of Norwalk, CT and her 8 grandsons; Richard J. Longo, Edward J. Longo, Robert J. Longo, Thomas J. Longo, John M. Maldonado, Sean P. Maldonado, Ryan J. Maldonado and Daniel E. Maldonado.
Memorial visitation will be on Wednesday from 4-8pm at McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home, Inc. 491 Mamaroneck Ave, White Plains. Mass of Christian burial will be on Thursday, August 6th at 10:00am at St. John the Evangelist Church followed by interment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Rosary Hill Home.
